Brighton (Dance) Flash Mobs

It has been a busy couple of months with requests pouring in. We were recently asked to do a flash mob without dance. “Why not?” we thought, as we launched into producing a wedding proposal flash mob on the Brighton Wheel. Our production team provided live music, film crew and post-proposal alcohol in a personalised mug. He asked, she said yes and we all gave a sigh of relief!

So don’t be fooled by our name, your flash mob can be anything you wish for! In fact our latest flash mob is promoting Laughter Yoga Workshops (only in Brighton!) and again has no dance element.

In the last few months we’ve also received a couple of requests for flash mobs in USA… enormously exciting until we realised the requesters thought we were based in Brighton, USA and didn’t quite have the budget to fly us over. Ah well!

A summer of love!

Over the summer BDFM were asked to teach flash mobs to two hen parties! The first was organised by the maid of honour to surprise the bride on her hen night in a local bar. The hens secretly learnt the routine online and performed it along with a bunch of BDFM’ers who stormed the bar and led the dance! Rosie was one surprised bride!

The second was part of the hen party celebrations. The bride and her hens were taught a routine that we then tested out in a local bar! – we cannot post footage yet as the routine is then being performed at the wedding reception which is in a couple of weeks so we need to keep the identities of the hens secret!

Festival flash mob fun @ GO.GO!

A number of BDFM regulars attended the GO.GO women’s festival in Headcorn, Kent and treated some of the festival-goers to an impromptu dance lesson culminating in an amazing flash mob right in front of the main stage!! Thanks to all the ladies who got involved – and to Mitch & Ali for teaching the routine in record time!

Wedding flash mob @ The Grand Hotel!

Wedding guests performed our Glee Flash Mob dance routine at a wedding reception at The Grand Hotel in Brighton!
